Dr. Jawaharin Basha Ph.D

Principal

Dr. M. Jawaharin Basha has 31 years of experience, including 25 years in teaching and six years in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science. He holds a Ph.D. in ECE from Rayalaseema University and an M.Tech. from IASE Deemed University. He is a ratified professor by JNTUH and has served in various academic and administrative roles, including Professor, Registrar, Dean of Administration, and NAAC Coordinator. Currently, he is a Professor & Head of ECE, GITW, Bengaluru.

His extensive teaching career spans multiple institutions, including Ghousia College of Engineering, Shadan College of Engineering & Technology, and Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology. He has also worked in hardware engineering and network maintenance. He has been involved in staff selection as a university nominee, AICTE and JNTUH regulatory compliance, admissions, and examination coordination.

Dr. Basha has organized technical symposiums and workshops and has published research papers in international journals on topics related to wireless communication and network optimization. His expertise covers subjects like Digital and Analog Communications, Electronic Devices & Circuits, VLSI Design, and ARM Processor Architecture. He has attended and presented papers at national and international conferences.

Mr.Naveed Ahmed Mukhtar

Naveed Ahmed Mukhtar is a skilled electrical professional with strong technical qualifications and extensive industry experience. He secured 3rd rank in the ATS examination conducted by BEL after completing CTS and ATS programs. He holds certifications in Advanced Vocational Training System (AVTS) from the Government of Karnataka, IEEM from Schneider Electric, and IELTS from the British Council. He is also a student member of the Institute of Engineers (AMIE), Kolkata.

Since 1999, he has been serving at Ghousia Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Bengaluru, currently working as a Junior Training Officer in the Electrical Department. In addition, he has taken on key responsibilities such as Placement Officer, Trainer, and Infrastructure In-charge. He has also served as Maintenance Officer and Project In-charge for Schneider Electric training initiatives, along with responsibilities as NSS Officer.

Earlier in his career, he worked internationally in Saudi Arabia, holding positions such as Site Engineer with the Ministry of Highways, Project Manager at SKAB International, and Installation Engineer with Saudi Electric Company (SECO). He also served as In-charge Engineer and Project Manager at IBM Establishment, Najran, and as a Service Engineer at Techser Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru.

His key achievements include organizing state-level inter-ITI volleyball tournaments and conducting martial arts self-defense (Muay Thai) training for students. He is also known for guiding technical projects and mentoring ITI students toward professional excellence.He also organised Megha Job Fair for three times in this campus as well in the Ramanagara Engineering campus.

Syed Mushtaq Ahmed is a dedicated and experienced technical professional with a strong academic background and over two decades of service in vocational education. He has consistently achieved first class throughout his academic career, including SSLC, PUC II, CTS, ATS, and CITS (RPL). He also holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a Diploma in Foremanship (Production Engineering), both with first class distinction. In addition, he has completed an Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering from Aptech with first class.

He began his professional career as a Production Engineer in a private company, where he gained valuable industrial experience for one year. In 1995, he joined Ghousia Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Bengaluru, as a Junior Training Officer (JTO) and has been serving the institution with commitment and excellence ever since.

With extensive teaching and technical expertise, he has played a vital role in training and mentoring students in the trade of Fitter Department . His long-standing service reflects dedication, discipline, and a passion for skill development. He is known for his practical approach to teaching and his ability to guide students toward successful careers in industry.

Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Pasha

Mohammed Ahmed Pasha is a committed and experienced technical educator serving as a Junior Training Officer at Ghousia Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Bengaluru, since 18 August 2005. With over two decades of dedicated service, he has made significant contributions to technical education and vocational training.

He holds key technical qualifications including National Trade Certificate (NTC), National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC), and Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS), demonstrating a strong foundation in skill development and industrial training. His academic and professional background reflects a deep commitment to enhancing technical competencies among students.

Throughout his tenure, he has actively participated in various institutional committees, including the Cultural Committee, Sports Committee, Examination Team, National Service Scheme (NSS), PM-NAPS, Institute Magazine Committee, and Admissions Drive Committee. His involvement highlights his all-round contribution to both academic and co-curricular activities.

Mr.Manjunath R

Mr. Manjunath R is a dedicated technical professional with extensive experience in industrial training and skill development. He joined GHOUSIA ITI in 2011 and has been actively contributing to vocational education since then. He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, which forms the foundation of his technical expertise. At GHOUSIA ITI, he has handled trades such as Fitter, Plumber, and Engineering Drawing with commitment and proficiency.

Currently, he is working as a Junior Training Officer (JTO) in the RACT trade, where he continues to guide and mentor students. His service is marked by sincerity, discipline, and a strong dedication to institutional growth. He is well appreciated by the management for his consistent performance and contribution.

Mr. Manjunath completed his Apprenticeship training at MICO BOSCH Company in 1992, gaining valuable industrial exposure. He also worked at Stump Schuele Somappa Ltd as a spring winding machine operator for six years, enhancing his practical skills. Later, he joined Government ITI as a faculty member, where he trained students in Fitter and Machinist trades.

In addition, he has been teaching workshop calculation, science, and engineering drawing subjects for many years. He possesses rich teaching experience spanning from 1999 to 2011 in Government ITI. At present, he is also involved in conducting apprenticeship classes at Festo Company and GE-Wipro Company on a weekly basis.

Mr. Syed Abdul Azeez is a skilled and experienced professional in the field of air-conditioning and refrigeration technology. He holds CTS and NTC certifications, reflecting his strong technical foundation and practical competence. He began his career at Voltas Air-Conditioners, where he worked as a technician for four years, gaining valuable industry experience.

In 2011, he actively guided trainees of the RACT batch in developing air-conditioning models for a social project, demonstrating his commitment to applied learning. His team secured the 2nd prize at the prestigious Vishweshvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, showcasing his ability to mentor students toward excellence.

He has more than 21 years of dedicated service in GHOUSIA ITI, where he is currently working as a Junior Training Officer (JTO). Throughout his career, he has been known for his technical expertise, teaching ability, and sincere contribution to student development.

Mr. Azeez continues to inspire trainees through his practical approach, discipline, and commitment to quality technical education, making him a valuable asset to the institution.

Mrs.Tabassum Afshan

Ms. Tabassum Afsan is a highly qualified and dedicated academic professional with a strong background in Electronics and Control Engineering. She holds a B.E. in Electronics and Controls and has consistently demonstrated academic excellence throughout her education.

She began her teaching career as a Lecturer at Oxford Polytechnic and GHOUSIA Polytechnic for Women, Bangalore, where she served for four years and developed a strong foundation in technical education. She later joined GHOUSIA ITI as a Junior Training Officer (JTO) and has been serving the institution with dedication ever since.

Ms. Afsan has successfully guided students in academic and project-based learning, including mentoring two projects for the prestigious Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes nurturing students beyond average performance by strengthening conceptual understanding and developing essential technical skills.

In addition to her teaching career, she has also gained industrial experience by working as a Production Engineer in a private company for one year. Since joining GHOUSIA ITI in 1995, she has been actively contributing to student development and institutional growth.

Mr.Anand V

Mr. V. Anand is a committed and experienced professional in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. He holds a Diploma in Electronics and Communication, which has provided him with a strong technical foundation for both teaching and practical applications.

He has been serving at GHOUSIA ITI as a Junior Training Officer (JTO) for over 13 years, contributing significantly to student development and institutional progress. His dedication to teaching and mentoring has resulted in notable student achievements and consistent academic success.

In 2013, he guided a student project on a multi-purpose robot, which secured 2nd prize at the prestigious Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum. Further, in 2019, he mentored students in developing an add-on ladder, which also won 1st prize at the same institution and brought recognition to GHOUSIA ITI.

Mr. Anand has consistently maintained excellent academic outcomes, with over 89% student pass percentage in both theory and practical examinations in the EM trade, and ES batches achieving more than 85% pass rates.

His dedication, technical expertise, and ability to inspire students make him a valuable asset to the institution and a respected educator in his field.
